Israel Adesanya has a very successful YouTube channel which he uses to create different content including outages and general updates. He sat down in a recent video for a “rant” and also to talk about his teammates’ respective fights at UFC 266.
He begins by admitting that he didn’t really want to have a depression because his mind was elsewhere. He started to work out the issues his teammates were having with their training camps.
“The constant effort to choke, break, disrupt our City Kickboxing team by helping team captain Dan ‘Hangman’ prepare for his fight, which pissed me off the most,” Adesanya said in his video. “If that was me, I already know, they don’t like me, the bureaucrats in this fucking country… also, they’re racists, some of them are fucking racists, of course they don’t. not want a black boy representing New Zealand, but you do that to Dan ‘Hangman’ Hooker… Dan drapes his country over his shoulders during the weigh-ins, during the walkout, he puts that country on his back.
Israel Adesanya also explains how New Zealand journalists camped outside the City Kickboxing gymnasium and took photos of people entering and exiting the building.
This is putting everyone in trouble as the country has strict COVID-19 protocols. It affected everyone’s training and Dan Hooker had to do his training camp at home.
Israel Adesanya also said he would never fight in New Zealand again. He thinks people built the sport and he doesn’t want to put money in the pockets of the government.
